The Seasonal Twist Colour System™
Simplifying Colour Analysis
Do you remember the 'original' colour system that relied on the four different seasons, well things have certainly moved on ...the Seasonal Twist™ Colour System uses 8 different Shade Seeker™ swatches to decipher your clients colour coding.
A New Innovation to the UK Industry

Nature always gets it right when it comes to levels of colour. There are so many different levels of colour around us and by following nature's example we can find for our clients the correct level of colour to wear, from very bright to very soft, it is where you stop that is important. It is also about building your clients confidence to introducing colour into their wardrobe. The first picture could easily depict someone who constantly wears black and white; it is plain yet very dramatic. The other pictures take into account different levels of colour and the look is one whereby the colours compliment each other. Nature is a fantastic guide.
Easy to use
The Seasonal Twist System™ has been designed by Sue Cocks for Image/Colour Consultants. It is a fast and easy system to use. The easy to follow categories using the Shade Seekers™ makes finding the correct level/intensity/temperature of colour an assured and easy experience for you and your clients.

I describe the seasonal twist to my clients as follows; not everyone fits into the seasonal method of spring, summer, autumn, winter.... you end up giving your client a swatch with half of the colours crossed off, which can confuse them. Instead you will discover your clients 'true' colours by using our unique system. Using a variety of drapes you will decipher your clients colour direction from how bright to how soft; it’s a bit like using a dimmer switch, it where you stop that's important. That will give your client their true colour coding. This unique sysytem is quickly learnt and is easy to use. Fantastic for corporate work.
The Colour Twist System works like this; there are eight different palettes to decipher your client's colouring, four warm and four cool. Using a selection of drapes which are very different from 'standard' and 'traditional' methods you will quickly and easily 'see' your client's colour coding. You then add the basics and neutrals This system is only available with the QCIC Academy. This system is great for group work and enables a Colour Analysis session to be completed within 1 hour (and an express version that can be completed in 15 minutes) as opposed to the normal time frame of 2+ hours.
I do not advise consultants to purchase make up to sell to customers when doing a colour analysis consultation. Clients prefer to buy their make up at the supermarket/department store and they buy a brand that they know. If you have to purchase make up when attending a course, please think carefully before buying any. I wasted hundreds of pounds on make up, I got 'caught up' in the moment.

"A very logical way to do colour analysis, simply brilliant" (Sue Cheltenham)
The two clients I did on Thursday were really pleased, and I had absolutely no trouble finding their colours!! I was so thrilled. All credit to you for your teaching skills.
"My training was superb, you spent so much time making sure that I fully understood every aspect of the colour system. It is so easy to grasp and the models you used were so impressed with this method; especially those who had previously been coded. It is so true that over time you do need to turn the level of colours down and your system allows for that. It is quite brilliant and I'm so glad that I trained with you. I knew you were the right company from the moment I spoke to you. You are so genuine, warm, witty and very, very knowledgable"
I decided to take the plunge and sign up and I have not been disappointed. First impressions are important and Sue walks the talk, not in an over-the-top way as some do, you know the type they look great but are afraid to move in case something falls out of place, Sue looks great in a very natural way. Day one was great Sue did my colours then we went shopping, don’t worry you don’t have to buy clothes, although you can if you want to, the point of the shopping trip is to identify the colours that work for you. Make the most of it its not every day that you will have some one like Sue to help you. Day two and three are spent on getting to know the Seasonal Twist Colour System and practicing on LIVE models.
My first client, I was doubting myself big time the lady had told me that she had had her colours done once before but the Colour Consultant was unable to identify her season. It was a full month since my training would I remember what to look for and the steps involved? I told myself that this was not a life or death situation and to relax but I was still nervous I so wanted to get it right. Before the lady arrived I spent some time going over the handouts and my notes. This might sound strange but within a couple of minutes of starting my worries left and I was actually repeating in my head what Sue had taught me on the course. Unlike the first colour consultant who had been unable to identify her colours The Seasonal Twist Colour System could. After the consultation the woman told me that the other colour consultant was not as qualified as me, so much for all my worrying.
I can’t comment on other colour training courses because I have not taken them, but I can tell you that Sue has been there for me every step of the way, both before and after. I am always a bit weary of testimonies how do you know if they are real, well if you are seriously considering Colour Analysis Training and want to talk to me I have given Sue permission to pass on my contact details. Personally, I know I made the right decision.
