You have a dream but maybe you’re a little scared and its gnawing away inside of you. I was once where you are now, when a career in retail management ended & I didn’t know what on earth I was going to do. I knew that I didn’t want to go back into childcare (done that for 12 years running my own nursery, had enjoyed it very much but had achieved all that I wanted to) and I kept thinking, What on earth was I going to do? What would be a fun way to earn money? (I was way past the slogging my guts out for someone else for a pittance & living just for the weekend or my days off). Well someone heard me asking (I often talk to a picture of my grandparents asking their advice!!) and I received a phone call asking if I was available to be a model for a training academy (spooky hey). Trustingly I went along and that was my entry into the world of colour & styling.
For the cynical people reading this you are probably saying so what Sue, there’s your so called light bulb moment. Big deal, give the girl a round of applause.
I appreciate that not everyone works this way, but it does for me. I’m always walking around my home asking questions and sometimes it takes a while for the answer to show up other times I know the answer very quickly indeed.
Having Faith
I decided to have faith in this opportunity and I booked my training course because deep down I knew that I could & would make my business work. It was the right and perfect career for me and I absolutely LOVE IT.
I studied hard, I watched the TV programmes….. I didn’t always agree mind you with them, but I became a sponge of knowledge. At times I could have quite simply quit, it would have been such as easy option, but I kept beavering away.
It took time, I found certain aspects of my training were not meeting client needs of today and developed my own ways of working & practising and other Image Consultants were egging me on, come on Sue we need these modern approaches.
I decided that I wanted to make it easier for others to have successful businesses too and so when I received the following message whilst doing the ironing and singing along badly to the radio….How would you like to have your own training academy? I replied yes please how do I do that…….and the rest is history. Now 10 years on I have put together everything I’ve learnt into the

Many hundreds of years ago so it seems (1970's actually) some very clever individuals realised that there was a niche market for offering 'image consultations' and so a revolution was born. There was a great demand for these consultants to 'tell' people what they should be wearing. For many years this way of styling people worked, but roll on 30+ years and this way of 'advising' clients is dated and doesn't sit with modern values today.
Today's clients are time limited, they want faster consultations, and they want a softer approach from style advisors, many want it all in one go. It is as much about how a client 'feels' in their clothing, how they 'feel' with their personal/professional look, it is about how they 'feel' in the colours that they have wrapped around them and how we coach them in purchasing outfits that 'feel' right.
Image Coaches today, or however you wish to call yourself, guide their clients through the different stages of image consultations. We have all watched the TV programmes which have been instrumental in highlighting the important role of style advisors/coaches but it has highlighted how bossy and intimidating some consultants can be, this is not what clients want or need. Gok is so popular because he has broken the trend and offers the much more softer approach to styling, and this is why I set about launching my academy training people for new careers in the softer coaching way, giving clients what they want & need and setting you on the road to a wonderful career, setting your apart from your peers using modern up to date techniques & systems that will work for you.

Group size
Between 4 & 8 in a group
We have available a payment plan to help you in financing your investment in your chosen training course.
You pay the deposit (non refundable but transferable) to secure your place on a course.
Then you pay 50% of the outstanding amount no later than 14 days prior to the course starting
The balance is then split over two equal payments 30 days apart.

I had a great and intensive week with Sue learning to become an image coach. Sue took me through all the aspects of the job seamlessly.
