Are you looking to train with a company which uses training schemes from the 1970's, if so we are so NOT for you.
We are a Training Academy at the forefront of revolutionising the way consultants are trained. Our courses are shorter because our methods are quick to pick up, it doesn't need to take zillions of hours trying to remember dated methods. Image Consulting has moved on..big time.

The QCIC Training Academy was launched in the summer of 2007 it's prime objective to offer an entirely new approach to the image consultancy industry with emphasis on the latest up to date training techniques, gained from the training Sue completed in the US with Evana Maggoire (www.fashionfengshui.com).

Traditionally image consultants have been trained using methods started in the 70’s which are now not appropriate to customer expectations. Today people are much more aware of the impact of their visual message and how this in turn affects how people react to them. They want to work with consultants who have been trained to a very high standard in the latest techniques.

Clients want a consultant who can demonstrate a flair for colour and style, who understands them as a person, who knows where and when to shop, taking into account the client's lifestyle, personality and budget.

The training covers:
  • Colour & it's importance
  • The Creative Styling approach to dressing
  • Personal shopping – the how to and what the clients expects
  • Dressing both Men and Ladies - for work and leisure
  • Wardrobe pruning and planning
  • Marketing yourself – business planning/ web sites and search engine optimisation/ copywriting

You are probably wondering at this point, what's the catch; the training times are shorter than most others and it costs considerably less. The answer, there is no catch; we train delegates in up to date training methods, not dated ones that have no place in todays time limited world. Our methods are clear to understand and easy to learn. We are very different from the other training companies. Check out at least three other training companies and see the difference...dated methods or up to date; dated methods that will hold your business back or methods that bring business in and set you apart from other consultants. The choice is yours.

Do you offer a guarantee?

All students are trained to a very high level of competency. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your training we offer a money back guarantee. All manuals and equipment must be returned in pristine condition before any refund is given.

As a minimum we like to chat to delegates prior to starting the training to ensure that you understand exactly the course content/requirements and potential rewards in this very fulfilling career.

At the conclusion of the training you are free to market and run your business in the way that works best for you with continued telephone and email support from QCIC Training Academy.

If you so wish, after you have been trading for 1 year you can take the city & guilds examinations with either The Federation of Image Consultants (TFIC) or the AICI. Please note, expect to pay around £500+ to do this.

To secure a place on one of our training courses a deposit of £750.00 (non refundable) is to be made. The balance of payment (£1500.00) is due no later than 30 days prior to starting the training. Payment can be made on line or send a cheque (UK residents only) to QC Image Consultancy to 46 The Tracery, Banstead, Surrey SM7 3DD.
Please note, we do not send reminders about balance payments due, it is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that payment is made on time. We will assume that if a balance payment is not made, you are not taking up your reservation and your place will be offered to others.

Why you should consider carefully who you train with

I have met with many image consultants and am constantly amazed by many of them who have set themselves up in business after watching the television programmes or consultants who have trained with companies, some very well known (who you may have come across) and have come to the conclusion that all courses are not equal and some clearly do not do the job at all. The prices for training vary, anything up to £6000+ you should ask about what you get for the training, is it value for money or are you paying for their overheads?

What is shocking to me is the thought of these people practising their dubious skills on the unsuspecting public...... and getting paid for it.

It's no wonder people seek me out at the end of a presentation and ask my opinion of their colours as they have never felt comfortable in what has been suggested that they wear by another consultant.

I am also hearing from an increasing number of people who have 'invested' in the train at home packages. Whilst this may appeal because it fits in with your current lifestyle, many have regretted there decision to select this option. One lady said "I may have just got my money out of the bank and put a match to it". You need classroom based training that also offers the practicals plus the on going mentoring support. If considering the DVD options, think carefully as to how your home life will impact on your studying because there will be many interruptions and eventually will the DVD's just sit in the bottom drawer?

Comments

Thank you very much for inviting me to your course last Tuesday. I enjoyed the session very much, and was impressed with your expertise and the relationship that you had built up with your students. I thought that your course materials were excellent. (an observer from an international retail chain)

Sue, thank goodness that someone has finally brought Image Consulting up to date. You are a breath of fresh air. I am so looking forward to training with you.

I looked into many courses and yours is so up to date. Thank you for daring to be different. I cannot wait to start my course with you.

Having checked out most companies, your syllabus suits me down to the ground. I don't want to be trained in dated principles, I want to be different and offer a unique service. Thank you for providing that.

Sue, you are so refreshing, bubbly and honest. You are the only company that I have spoken to that talks about Image Consulting as a business and I applaud you for that. I look forward to training with you.

Why should I train with QCIC Training Academy

QCIC Training Academy is the  only UK company offering a training programme which is relevant for the industry in today's market. Many companies still use very dated principles which will restrict your business. I have developed the programmes based on client expectations today.

I believe in the concept that you are learning every day of your life and to this end I attend as many training courses a year to ensure that I can offer to my private clients and people who train with me the latest information. Call Sue on 0845 408 1664 to check availability.

This is a fantastic business to be in. You can earn good money and still have the immense satisfaction of knowing that YOU are helping others to achieve their full potential by making the best of themselves.

You will have so much fun discovering your own colouring and body shape; you will transfer this knowledge to your clients. The ultimate purpose of each course will be to show you how to work out what your client really wants from a consultation with you, and how to deliver it.

Training in the image industry could set you on the road of a very satisfying and rewarding career. If I can help you to realise your dreams, I look forward to working with you.

Call Sue on 0845 408 1664 to discuss your training needs & to check availability. If it is difficult for you to call during the day, you can call me up to 9pm in the evenings. Send me a message via email
