I'm Sue Cocks and when I launched my business I didn't understand about connection to clients and delivering an exceptional experience. For me it was all about marketing and setting up & working the 'old' way (that's what I was told to) and it just didn't gel me with. I'm a hearted centred entrepreneur and I need easy steps using simple language that clients can understand.
I worked out that for me it was more about connection and the experience of being with my ideal clients; I didn't just want a 'one-off' consultation with them, I and they wanted much more out of the experience. When you connect deeply with your ideal clients, the time spent together flows; you build a rapport so quickly that you feel like you've known them for a lifetime instead of just a few hours. Your ideal client benefits so much more than you will ever know and business relationships are built and they come back to you time and time again.
It was also about me honouring that I don't do or like complicated & dated processes, I find them overwhelming and clients go away confused & upset. For example styling a client the 1970's way is so humiliating...stand them by a wall, draw around them, get the tape measure out and point out their flaws....that leaves me totally cold and it doesn't do wonders for the client either, I hated the experience and vowed never to put my clients through it. That is not connection to a client and delivering a memorable experience.
I work using simple confidence enhancing steps, I want my ideal clients to love and enjoy their time with me and that is what I'm about.
