You have a dream but maybe you’re a little scared and its gnawing away inside of you. I was once where you are now, when a career in retail management ended & I didn’t know what on earth I was going to do. I knew that I didn’t want to go back into childcare (done that for 12 years running my own nursery, had enjoyed it very much but had achieved all that I wanted to) and I kept thinking, What on earth was I going to do? What would be a fun way to earn money? (I was way past the slogging my guts out for someone else for a pittance & living just for the weekend or my days off). Well someone heard me asking (I often talk to a picture of my grandparents asking their advice!!) and I received a phone call asking if I was available to be a model for a training academy (spooky hey). Trustingly I went along and that was my entry into the world of colour & styling.

For the cynical people reading this you are probably saying so what Sue, there’s your so called light bulb moment. Big deal, give the girl a round of applause.

I appreciate that not everyone works this way, but it does for me. I’m always walking around my home asking questions and sometimes it takes a while for the answer to show up other times I know the answer very quickly indeed.

Having Faith

I decided to have faith in this opportunity and I booked my training course because deep down I knew that I could & would make my business work. It was the right and perfect career for me and I absolutely LOVE IT.

I studied hard, I watched the TV programmes….. I didn’t always agree mind you with them, but I became a sponge of knowledge. At times I could have quite simply quit, it would have been such as easy option, but I kept beavering away.

It took time, I found certain aspects of my training were not meeting client needs of today and developed my own ways of working & practising and other Image Consultants were egging me on, come on Sue we need these modern approaches.  

I decided that I wanted to make it easier for others to have successful businesses too and so when I received the following message whilst doing the ironing and singing along badly to the radio….How would you like to have your own training academy? I replied yes please how do I do that…….and the rest is history. Now 10 years on I have put together everything I’ve learnt into the

  Colour Analysis programmes
